Not-To-Miss 2018 Fox Cities Events


The Fox Cities will have plenty to fill your calendar in 2018 so mark your calendars. Here's a list of some annual events and festivals to look forward to this year!

16th Annual Wildwood Film Festival - March 16 & 17

Held at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center and dedicated to showcasing only films that have direct ties to Wisconsin, they strive to promote local talent and provide education in film making.


NCAA Division III Baseball Championship – May 25–29

Fox Cities Stadium, home to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (single A affiliate team to the Milwaukee Brewers), will fill with spectators to watch the top eight teams in the country as they battle it out for the national championship. Tickets go on sale early March, watch the website for updates!


Jordy Nelson Charity Softball Game – June 2

Jordy and the rest of the Green Bay Packers are trading their football pads for baseball gloves for charity. Head out to Fox Cities Stadium and watch the Packer offense take on the defense! Proceeds from the game will benefit Young Life, an organization for teens and college students. Tickets are on sale now, click here for details!]\

WIAA State Baseball Tournament – June 12-14

High schools from around the state will be here to compete for the state championship at Fox Cities Stadium! Check their website for updated game times and information.

Great Greenville Catfish Extravaganza – July 6-7

A 2-day event! Friday family night and all-day Saturday features kids activities, food vendors, fireworks! Saturday night finishes off with their big concert; past performers include Alabama, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Beach Boys, and ZZ Top just to name a few. 2018 band has yet to be announced, watch their website for updates!


44th Annual Bergstrom Mahler Museum of Glass Arts Festival – July 15

More than 60 high-quality artists fill scenic Riverside Park in Neenah for this FREE arts festival. Enjoy live music, fine art and food.



32nd Annual Best Friends Gourmet Bike Tour – July 22

The Best Friends Gourmet Bike Tour is a scenic ride through the Neenah. Choose from multiple routes for all levels. Rest stops along the route feature baked goods, fresh fruits, and beverages. End the tour with a Gourmet Picnic! Served from 10:30am to 3:00pm featuring homemade soups, vegetables, beverages, sub sandwiches, wraps and calzones. Click here for details and how to register!


Art at the Park – July 29

58th Annual arts and craft fair held at City Park in Appleton will showcase nearly 200 participating artists from around the country. Live music, local food vendors, and kids activities! Admission and parking is free!


Mile of Music – August 2-5

Don't miss Appleton largest music festival as Mile 5 takes over the Ave! 200+ artists will perform 800+ live sets of original music at 70+ venues in Downtown Appleton...and it's all FREE! Click here for more! *photo courtesy Graham Images


Community First Fox Cities Marathon presented by Miron Construction – September 22-24

A weekend of races for all ages and abilities! Events include the full and and half marathon, relay marathon, 5k, kids fun run, the Diaper Dash and Toddler Trot! Network Health Health & Wellness expo will be held on both days of the event.


Fox Valley Restaurant Tour Week – September 20-26

This area restaurant sponsored event features specialty menus from different restaurants from the Fox Valley who are ready to cater to food lovers! Each participating restaurant will have a special printed menu with:
Lunch - 2 to 3 options of 3 courses for $12. Value will be $20 or above
Dinner - 3 options of 3 courses for either $25 or $35. Values will be $32 and $43 respectively

License to Cruise and Octoberfest – September 28-29

Appleton's largest festival kicks off Friday night with License to Cruise, a classic car show that takes over College Ave with hundreds of classic cars, live music and food! Octoberfest starts bright and early at 9am Saturday morning! Live music all day, arts and crafts and great food!


Menasha's New Years Eve Celebration - December 31

25th Annual New Years Eve Party in Curtis Reed square in Downtown Menasha! Live Music, Giveaways, Ball Drop, Fireworks and more!
