Asylum Out of the Shadows Exhibit

Features the history of the Outagamie County Asylum.
It focuses on the people who lived and worked at the facility.
The exhibit shows the evolution of mental health treatment going back more than a century.

A 2011 Grammy Award-winner for her electrifying performance as Kitty Oppenhemier in the Metropolitan Opera premiere of “Doctor Atomic,” Cooke has been racking up acclaim and honors since graduating from Rice University and the Juilliard School, where she made her professional debut. The New York Times says she's “a luminous standout”. Cooke specializes in contemporary opera and has performed with nearly 30 orchestras around the world.

Mystery at the Mansion

Portray an assigned character and help solve a murder mystery at this audience-participation event, set in the 1920s.  The cost is $75 per person, which includes wine and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Participants must be 21 or older; limited to 20 people.
