are the Fox Cities? Why the name?
The Fox Cities are 18 communities located along the Fox River
and Lake Winnebago in Northeast Wisconsin. The communities comprising
the Fox Cities include: Appleton, Clayton, Combined Locks, Kaukauna,
Kimberly, Little Chute, Menasha, Neenah, Buchanan, Freedom,
Grand Chute, Greenville, Harrison, Sherwood, Town of Menasha, Town of
Neenah Vandenbroek and Woodville.
Where are the Fox Cities located?
90 minutes north of Milwaukee and 30 minutes south of Green
Bay. The Fox Cities are an easy drive from surrounding major
urban centers including Chicago, Madison and Minneapolis.
Do you have an airport?
Outagamie County Regional Airport (ATW) serves the Fox Cities
with more than 30 daily flights on Delta, Northwest, Midwest
Airlines and United.
What is there for kids to do in the Fox Cities?
The Fox Cities offer an array of activities to keep the kids
busy! Hours of fun await at beautiful public parks, nature
centers and our kid friendly museums and attractions. Be sure

What's the weather like?
The Fox Cities experience all four seasons at their best.
Winters vary from mild to moderate with moderate snowfall
and colder temperatures. Spring hosts balmy temps and summer
offers sunny days and comfortable evenings in the 70s and
80s. Fall is the perfect time to enjoy beautiful fall foliage
among the crisp air and moderate temperatures.
Can I get a hotel room during a Green Bay Packers
home game?
Since we’re located just 30 minutes south of Titletown,
our hotel rooms fill up quick on home game weekends! If you
plan to visit during a Packers home game, be sure to make
a room reservation as soon as you know you are coming.
