How to #ExploreFoxCities this 4th of July


Celebrating the anniversary of our country's independence in the Fox Cities! With fun, family-friendly activities and festivals including fireworks, parades, music, food and more, we've got something for everyone! Here is your guide to some notable celebrations in our area. Have a safe and happy fourth!


Appleton 4th of July Celebration
July 3rd - Appleton Memorial Park

Fun activities for the whole family, kids games, live music and local food vendors followed by an amazing fireworks performance, put on by Festival Foods. Festivities begin at 4pm with fireworks at dusk, approx 9:15pm. 


Community Fest
July 3 & 4 - Event location in both Neenah and Menasha - check website for details on activity locations.

July 3rd - Noon-11pm: Cookout all day at Curtis Reed Square in Menasha featuring live music performers. At dusk there will be a Pajama Jam at Shattuck Park in Neenah. Be sure to secure your spot for the Parade of Lights and stick around for the after party. 

July 4th - 8am-11pm: There will be events all day long at Riverside Park in Neenah and Jefferson Park in Mensha, including the YMCA Liberty run, pancake breakfast, parade, petting zoo, family activities, live music, food, Festival Food's Neenah & Menasha Fireworks display at dusk and much more!


Fox Firecracker 5k Run/Walk
July 4th - Family friendly events featuring a 5k Run/walk through scenic areas of Kaukauna with a patriotic salute along the way. Every finisher gets an American Flag! Stick around after the race for live music, apple pie, skydivers, fireworks, and the UW Marching Band! 

  • Race Day Registration - 6-7am
  • Kids Run - 7:30am
  • 5K - 8am


Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Baseball
Hat Giveaway & Fireworks

July 3rd - Fox Cities Stadium
The first 1,000 fans will receive a Red, White & Blue hat. Stay after the game for an extra Fireworks show!

Gridiron Glory: The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame - Exhibit
History Museum at the Castle, Appleton
Museum hours: Tuesday-Saturday 11am-4pm

Waterboard Warriors Ski Show - Tuesday, July 3, 7pm. Mueller Park, Wrightstown.
