Things to Do Thanksgiving Weekend in the Fox Cities

Are you hosting family and friends in the Fox Cities this Thanksgiving weekend? From Christmas-themed exhibits to a holiday light display to sipping or sampling local flavors, show them a good time in the Fox Cities with these things to see and do.

Appleton Beer Factory

Taste local flavors.
After cooking a Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, give your kitchen (and the cook) a break.

From classic Wisconsin fare to ethnic-inspired meals, dine at a Fox Cities restaurant or eatery. For even more headline-worthy dining options, pick a restaurant recently recommended by the Chicago Tribune, which called Appleton and the Fox Cities "full of sweet surprises."

For your beer-loving family and friends, get the good times brewing at these Fox Cities breweries. At Rhythm & Brews on Wednesday, November 27, a free mid-week concert series in Appleton, you can try Stone Arch Brewpub's craft beers while listening to Mile of Music artists; this week's headliner is Nathan Graham of Chicago.

Have your guests take a taste of the Fox Cities home with them. Whether chocolate from Wilmar Chocolates, candies from Vande Walle's Candies, cheese from Simon's Specialty Cheese, milk and ice cream from Lamers Dairy, or a treat from another Fox Cities store, they'll bring home more than just good memories from their Fox Cities visit.

Stroll through the Downtown Appleton Indoor Farm Market on Saturday, November 30 for a pick of local, seasonal produce, baked goods, and handicrafts from dozens of vendors.

Catch some air at the Altitude Trampoline Park Appleton's grand opening on Friday, November 29. This high-energy indoor park features performance trampolines, a ropes course, a ninja course, and more. The Fox Cities is home to other indoor recreation and amusement center options too that'll bring out the kid in everyone for hours of fun.
