Fox Cities NFL Draft Guide

While you may not be able to visit your favorite Fox Cities establishment to watch Commissioner Goddell call out each team's pick, the Fox Cities should still be your first overall pick.

Wings and football are like the Packers and the Super Bowl – good on their own, but better together.

Parker John's BBQ in Menasha serves traditional smoked jumbo wings or golden fried boneless wings in sauces ranging from their Ghostly Hot to Honey BBQ.

The good folks over at The Bar on the Ave are ready to make your draft night as savory as possible with over 20 different sauces to add to your boneless or bone in wings.

Gameday Sports Bar will be pumping out wings from 4pm – 8pm on Thursday. Try their Ancient Chinese Secret sauce for the perfect combo of tang and spice.

The Draft making you feel extra competitive? Order of wings ($.50 wings, April 23-25) from Ground Round Neenah, take a photo eating them while watching the Draft, post it to Ground Round Neenah's Facebook page, and you'll be entered to win wings for a year.

Greene’s Pour House is still offering delicious burgers for carryout. Grab your standard burger with lettuce onion and tomato, or try one their specialty burgers like the Loaded Tot Burger. The Loaded Tot Burger is a 1/2 pound patty topped with tater tots, homemade queso, sour cream, green onions, and bacon.

Mihm's Charcoal Grill in Menasha serves the classic burger with a delicious charcoal taste; grab them to go with their carryout option.

Mad Apple Burger & Billiard Co. is right off of College Ave., which makes it a perfect grab-and-go option. Classic beef burgers will be cooked to perfection and topped with almost anything you could imagine. If you’re feeling extra mad try changing your protein to a bison or elk burger; there are also vegan burgers available for non-meat-eaters.

Beer is just like taking your late round draft picks seriously; they are both essential for a successful draft night. Many Fox Cities breweries are still open and offering curbside pickup.

Barrel 41 Brewing Co. in Neenah is offering 4-packs and 6-packs of their delicious flavors like Birthday Suit (Blonde Ale) or Cinnamon Toast Crunch (Porter).

McFleshman’s Brewing Co. recently adapted their name to McF-Carside. Pull up and have their craft brews brought right to your car window. They have also added some new Spring flavors to the cooler like, Sutterbrau (Hefeweizen), and MSB (English Pale Ale).

Make it Yourself

Take out is great, but sometimes you want the satisfaction of making it yourself. Simon’s Specialty Cheese has you covered with their pre-made pizzas. Cook your pizza to your exact specifications, which gives you total control of your dining experience. There is also nothing wrong with making a meat and cheese tray for yourself; it’s the Packer way. Grab some blocks of cheese and sausage, slice them up and get to snacking.

If you’d prefer a more carnivorous route, stop by Jacob’s Meat Market to find everything from brats to steaks.
