Building for Kids Children's Parade

10th Annual - Kids 12 and under are invited to march down College Avenue in this non-motorized parade. Parade line up begins at 5:15, Parade starts at 6 pm. Registration is free (but required) at buildingforkids.org starting June 1. Parade ends at Cit Park where there will be food, music and plenty of family fun!

Each year, Art at the Park draws tens of thousands of visitors to this one-day event held in historic City Park in downtown Appleton, Wisconsin. Since 1960, Art at the Park has been a treasured community event that showcases the work of nearly 200 participating artists from throughout the country.

The Best Friends Bike Tour is a ride through the Fox Valley’s beautiful countryside to bene?t the mentoring programs of Best Friends of Neenah-Menasha. Featuring a mouth-watering picnic, this ride caters to both the novice and experienced rider. A 2 mile family route is open to families with children 12 and under! (no training wheels) Ride any one of the other scenic routes including 12, 25, 55, 75 or the 100-mile Century route.

Helmets are mandatory for all participants and cell phones are strongly suggested. The mapped tour provides mechanical assistance, SAG wagons and rest stops with homemade baked goods, fresh fruit, water, and energy drinks. After the tour, between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., participants are invited to enjoy a gourmet picnic featuring fresh baked goods, calzones, sandwiches, wraps and beverages.

New for 2018, the start/finish/post-party will be located at the Woodward Radio Group building at 2800 E. College Ave in Appleton.
