Overview
It's finally here--opening day 2025! The locks have two beautiful stretches of the Fox River open for navigation. You can cruise 19.3 miles through two locks from Rapide Croche north to the Bay of Green Bay or travel 17.7 miles from Rapide Croche south to Menasha thorugh locks in Kaukauna, Appleton, and the Heart of the Valley.
We're the nation's largest fully-restored, hand-operated lock system originally built before Wisconsin became a state. Boat the Fox River and you're part of living history!
