The Appleton Boychoir presents a powerful and moving musical tribute to freedom in this unique Black History Month concert. Featuring the music of South Africa, the Boys will perform works by Rudolf de Beer, Anders Nyberg, and even John Williams. The concert documents the story of the San people of the Western Cape region who first welcomed the Dutch and English sailors to their shores. The musical journey begins with the arrival of these ships from over the horizon, and continues to La Amistad and the quest for freedom of the Mende…Dry Your Tears Afrika! Share the music and celebrate the power of the human spirit with the Appleton Boychoir. HORIZONS!
Tickets can be ordered by calling the Appleton Boychoir office at 920-955-2224 with credit or debit card as payment; online at www.appletonboychoir.com; or in person prior to the performance. Tickets purchased in advanced $15-$20; day of performance, $20-$25.
