Pine Needle Basket Weaving Workshop

Got Cabin Fever yet? Well, grab a friend and come join us in an afternoon of learning a new and exciting Ancient Art form called Coiling!

Native People have been coiling baskets since the beginning of time. Students will learn about the various types of pine trees and the different geographic/cultural regions of the US and the Indigenous groups who lived there. In this workshop, participants will create a beautiful basket made of Pine Needles, Sweetgrass adorning it with a selection of stones, beads and shells for adornment.
Students will have enough supplies to make a 2nd mini basket at home. Light refreshments will be served. Don’t miss this one, limited space!
