1000 Islands Environmental Center
Enjoy 7.2 miles of hiking trails.with one mile of trail along the Fox River. Cross country ski trails are in the upper woods of the Conservancy and provide recreation for hundreds of skiers each winter. Our canoe launch aids canoeing/kayaking along the lower Fox River. Cuff Farms is a five generation family produce farm offering strawberries, pumpkins, and asparagus. Besides growing a rotation of winter wheat, rye, oats, and soy beans, we also grow 1 acre of asparagus, 35 acres of strawberries, and 15 acres of pumpkins and fall items every year in a field rotation.
More Information: Offering a “Pumpkin Picking” ride to the field to pick a pumpkin of your choice, mini pumpkins, gourds, and colored corn. Or purchase our pumpkins and fall products from our shed. Enjoy our round-bale climbing area, a straw-bale maze, a sorghum grass maze, a straw catepillar, and a straw slide. Family fun for everyone!
