Avenue of Ice Carvings Scavenger Hunt

Ready to explore the Avenue of Ice Carvings like never before?

As you enjoy the 26 stunning displays in downtown Appleton, join our Ice Carvings Scavenger Hunt for some extra frosty fun. This year's theme is What We Love About Wisconsin!

Now starting Saturday, February 21, at noon (date change due to weather forecast). Ice carvings will be on both sides of College Avenue from Memorial Drive to Lawrence University and will stay up as long as the weather permits.

While identifying each creation is purely for your own enjoyment, sharing your favorite finds could pay off. Snap a photo (or two!) and submit using the QR code for a chance to be featured on our official social media pages. One lucky photo submission will also win a $100 Downtown Appleton Gift Certificate. The winner will be contacted on Monday, February 23, 2026, using the email provided with the photo submission.
