Paddle the Day Away

Waterways in the Fox Cities provide a variety of routes for both beginner and experienced kayakers. Launch at Sunset Park in Kimberly or Fritse Park in Fox Crossing for calm waters and a smooth ride. Cast a Line

Anglers set their sights on the Fox Cities to reel in bass, pike, walleye, bluegill, and more. In the winter, hundreds of ice shanties cover the frozen surface of Lake Winnebago during sturgeon spearing season, typically running for two weeks in February.

Waterfront dining is a fan-favorite activity amongst locals and visitors alike. From the spacious patio at Waverly Beach to the riverfront scenery at Pullmans at Trolley Square, there are plenty of options for drinks, dinner, and a beautiful sunset view.

Opened in the historic Atlas Paper Mill, Atlas Science Center provides hands-on educational exhibits to teach visitors about the history of papermaking and hydropower in the Fox Cities. Sign up for a paper lab to create your own piece of paper to take home.
