By Plane:
Appleton International Airport (airport code ATW) offers more than 18 daily arrivals and departures. The airport offers flights to and from the following locations: Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Orlando, Phoenix/Mesa and Tampa/St. Pete. Our airport is serviced by Delta, United and Allegiant.
Another option is Platinum Flight Center, your full-service, fixed-base operator and provider of general aviation services, including charter, flight training, aircraft rental and sales.
Once you're here, there are a variety of options for ground transportation to get you from Appleton International Airport to your final destination.
By Car:
From Milwaukee (1.5 hours): Take I-794 E to US-45 N toward Fond Du Lac. Continue onto US-45 N/I-41. Keep left at the fork to continue on I-41 N. Stay on US-41 N until you reach Neenah. Neenah is the southernmost city in the Fox Cities. You can access our other communities via I-41 or Hwy 441.
From Madison (1.5 hours): Take US-151 N to I-41 N. Stay on US-41 N until you reach Neenah. Neenah is the southernmost city in the Fox Cities. You can access our other communities via I-41 or Hwy 441.
From Chicago (3 hours): Via I-290 W, take exit onto I-90 W/I-94 W toward Wisconsin. Merge onto I-94 W. Continue on I-94 W and use exit 316 towards I-43 N U.S 41 W. Follow signs for I-43 S/Fond du Lac. Continue onto I-43 S/I-894 W. Follow signs for I-894 N/U.S. 45 N. Take U.S-45 N onto US-41 N. Stay on US-41 N until you reach Neenah. Neenah is the southernmost city in the Fox Cities. You can access our other communities via I-41 or Hwy 441.
From Minneapolis/St.Paul (4.5 hours): Via I-94 E, look for exit 52 fo rUS-12/WI-29 towards WI-40/Chippewa Falls/Wausau. Continue on WI-29 E/WI-29 Trunk E and merge onto US-51 S toward I-39. Continue on I-39 and look for exit 158 toward Waupaca. Turn right onto US-10 E. US-10 E will bring you into Appleton. Appleton is a central location of our 19 communities.
Car Rental: Several automobile rental companies provide service in Appleton. Convenient on-site rental at the Appleton International Airport is available from the following companies: Alamo/National Car Rental, Avis Rent-A-Car, Hertz and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
Electric Charging Stations: Car charging stations can be found throughout the Fox Cities. Free EV stations can be found at Fairfield Inn & Suites (130 S Nicolet Rd), Atlas Science Center (425 W Water St), Courtyard by Marriott (101 Riverheath Way), Festival Foods (1355 Oneida St), Heckrodt Wetland Reserve (1305 Plank Rd) and Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve (4815 N Lynndale Dr).
By Bus:
