Make the most of Fall in the Fox Cities by immersing yourself in local trails, orchards, and pumpkin patches.

Leaves are beginning to change and there is a certain crispness in the air that can only be described as fall.

Farm Markets

Many of our area farm markets run through October. It's the perfect time to pick up some fresh produce or grab a bite to eat on-the-go. Participating Farm Markets include:

Orchards and Pumpkin Patches

Visit an orchard for fresh local apples and have even more fall fun with a visit to our local farms for pumpkins and traditional fall activities.

Pumpkin Patches

Mulberry Lane Farm

Visit for their Pumpkin Harvest Celebration starting September 18 and ending on October 31. Pick a FREE pumpkin, and while you're there take some time to play with a pig, pet a goat, take a hayride and have some fun on the farm!

Cuff Farms

Cuff Farm's 2020 pumpkin season will take place from September 26 to October 30. Parking and the children's play area are free to all guests. The pumpkin wagon ride is $10 for each guest over the age of 2 and includes 1 large pumpkin, 2 mini pumpkins, 2 gourds, and 2 pieces of colored corn for free. Meuer Farm

Take short drive outside the Fox Cities and test your corn maze skills. They feature the area’s largest corn maze and plenty of other great fall activities.


Enjoy the fall colors at High Cliff State Park. With trails for any skill level. Take a leisurely walk or hike a more challenging trail, enjoy the views of Lake Winnebago or visit the old Lime Kiln Ruins. Best time for peak fall colors is late September to mid-October.

High Cliff State Park

Experience fall colors from the water with a relaxing paddle on the Fox River. While most think of kayaking as a summer activity, October is still a beautiful time to head out (dressed accordingly of course). Fox River Kayaking Company offers guided tours and rental options. Keep in mind the Fox River lock system closes this time of year so be sure to plan your route accordingly.
