74th Annual Appleton Flag Day Parade
June 14, 2025 — 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Overview
The 74th Annual Appleton Flag Day Parade will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. This cherished tradition has grown into more than just a parade—it's a full celebration of patriotism, community, and service, with activities surrounding the main event. The 2025 parade theme is “Honor. Courage. Commitment.”, a fitting tribute as we spotlight both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy, each commemorating their 250th anniversaries. As is tradition, the United States Flag will serve as the Grand Marshal, and this year, it will be proudly escorted by Bob Lace—a U.S. Marine and respected member of the Appleton community. The parade officially begins at 1:58 p.m. with the performance of our National Anthem and follows a two-mile route from the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Oneida Street, ending near Lawrence University. Highlights include nearly 20 marching bands, military tributes, veteran organizations, patriotic floats, fire trucks, horses, and more. The Appleton Flag Day Parade continues to honor those who serve and inspire pride across generations.
