Appleton’s Octoberfest and License to Cruise

Cheers to Appleton’s largest block party!

Celebrating a mile of fun since 1981, Appleton’s Octoberfest is a weekend filled with food, beer, entertainment, and plenty of German flare.

Kicking off the weekend is License to Cruise, a classic car show complete with over 400 cars on display. Wander the lineup of pristine vintage vehicles up and down College Avenue and take a walk over to the Fox Cities Exhibition Center to see the special interest vehicles.

Keep the fun rolling into Saturday with a full day lineup of Octoberfest activities. From arts and crafts vendors to non-stop live music, there’s no shortage of entertainment for the thousands of people that attend each year. There’s even a family fun area with kid-friendly activities so all can enjoy the day.

It wouldn’t be an Octoberfest without beer, and the day begins with a friendly toast at 9 am in Houdini Plaza. Beer tents and German-inspired food booths can be located throughout downtown and the bars along the Ave feature special beer menus too. Rest assured, there are plenty of ride share options in the Appleton area to ensure all attendees have access to safe transportation at the end of the event.
