Artistic Plastic - Fusing Plastic Bags

From trash to treasure, turn plastic shopping bags into a reusable, sturdy, and quirky material by fusing them together. The material made from fused plastic bags can be made into tote bags, wallets, book covers, and so much more. In this class students will learn how to turn single-use plastic bags into material that can be used in a variety of ways to lengthen its useful life in fun and colorful ways. Your instructor for this class is Stephanie Leisering of Funky Remnants. During class students will learn the fusing process and make enough material to sew a simple tote bag during class. All supplies are included in the class fees but students are welcome to bring colorful plastic bags from home.
