Spiders and Ciders
October 23, 2025 — 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Overview
Hard cider tastings, jack-o'-lantern glow, cozy fires, and nature at night!
Step into the preserve after dark for a fall night of glow and good company. Wander beneath The Pines by jack-o'-lantern light, warm up by crackling bonfires, learn some spider science, and enjoy hard cider tastings included with your ticket. Prefer no alcohol? Local non-alcoholic apple cider will be on hand, too. It's the cozy, autumn-in-nature evening your Thursdays have been waiting for!
Admission includes three drink tickets redeemable for your choice of:
-Hard cider offerings
-Local non-alcoholic apple cider
-Canned beer, hard seltzer, or soda
Be sure to pop into the Log Cabin to meet Dr. Michael Draney, Biology professor at UWGB, for an up-close look at spiders and other arthropods. Check out specimens and chat with him about the fascinating lives of these eight-legged neighbors!
This is our last outdoor adults-only event of the year! So put on a family-friendly costume, join us for a hint of Halloween with all the Bubolz charm, and come close out the season at the preserve before the beautiful fall weather disappears!
