Tiny Doors Neenah
May 1, 2025 to May 31, 2025
Overview
Straight from the imaginative minds of the fourth, fifth and sixth grade students of Neenah’s Alliance Charter School and out of their creative hands come “Tiny Doors” a community art project being led by teacher Tami Erickson.
What are “Tiny Doors”? Just that – tiny sized doors created with clay, colorfully glazed and then fired. (See the cute example!) Think of them as a faux almost mouse sized entrances posted on the outside of a larger public building. There will be a wide variety fun door themes – pineapple, mushroom, castle, under the water, and butterflies to name just a few.
The Tiny Doors will be placed outdoors for viewing in public locations in Neenah's Central City. Tiny Doors will lead you on a self-guided tour of community curiosity – where will you find a Tiny Door next??? The downtown pedestrian alley? The Neenah Public Library? The Marketplace? The goal is to have 50 host sites. Maps will be available from the Future Neenah office or on the website neenah.org. Challenge yourself to take this hunt for a Neenah based adventure any time from May 1 -31.
Map will be available May 1.
