Timber Rattlers Named Best Organization in the Midwest League for Second Consecutive Year
It takes a team, and for the second year in a row, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have been named the Midwest League's "Organization of the Year."
With this recognition, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers is the league's nomination (against nominees from other leagues involved in Minor League Baseball) for the national John H. Johnson President’s Award, which recognizes the "complete baseball franchise – based on franchise stability, contributions to league stability, contributions to baseball in the community, and promotion of the baseball industry.” The national winner is announced in December.
The Timber Rattlers, which celebrated its 25 anniversary season in 2019, is the single-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers and play in the Town of Grand Chute in the Fox Cities.
