Romp in the Swamp at Bubolz Nature Preserve

Get ready for one of fall's favorite family traditions! 🍂 Join for the 33rd Annual Romp in the Swamp, presented by Essity, for an afternoon or evening filled with autumn fun, outdoor adventure, and festive memories.

Your adventure begins with a scenic hay wagon ride to the prairie, where you can roast a s'more before setting off on our beautiful trails to visit trick-or-treat stations along the way. Then, see if you can conquer the twists and turns of the prairie maze, show off your creativity in our costume contest for a chance to win great prizes, enjoy festive games in The Pines, and wrap up your visit by watching a family-friendly movie in costume while enjoying fresh popcorn in our transformed lower-level theater.

Your ticket includes admission to one of the two event sessions.

This event sells out every year, so be sure to reserve your spot early! If tickets remain available, they will be $12 per person at the door.
